Shede of color / private house in Milan I

The door is a key element not only to define the ambient , but it is also an element that can strongly personalize it.

In this project, the proposed solution responds to the customer’s need to create two spaces for children, separate and at the same time communicating through a door-wall.

We imagined a door interpreting it as a sliding wing made up of different colors that reveal themselves on both sides.

NMDS has created the colors of the door by interpreting the indications of the customer and the preferences of the children, arriving at the definition of two different geometries and “shades of color” that make the perception and function of the door suggestive and harmonious with the ambient space.
